Who Are We?

We're folk/rock/blues/country singer/songwriters from the heart of Maine, and two years ago we uprooted our 3 dogs and 5 cats and resettled in Rimrock, Arizona, right in the heart of the Verde Valley, 100 miles north of Phoenix and 50 miles south of Flagstaff. Our music continues to be an eclectic mix of originals and covers, and we play different mixes depending on the venue. We've played coffeehouses, fairs, bars, restaurants, private parties, and benefits. Our albums of covers and original music are available for purchase, both on CD and digitally. Give us a listen and contact us! We just recently completed a new collection of original music, Real Music , available on CDBaby in CD and digital download form. The first track of that CD is the song Stranded, a bit of an autobiographical tune with words by Leslie and music by Larry:

We typically hang out at our "regular"  Camp Verde coffeehouse open mike and play a few folk/rock originals, and also play pubs, farmers markets, and concert venues.  We're equally at home with the music of Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Donna Summer, James Taylor, and Taylor Swift.  It seems to be all about finding the right mix of music for the right crowd. We have an upcoming coffeehouse gig where we'll showcase a show of our original music, then a morning at a Farmer's Market where we'll play mostly light covers, songs like Crazy, Do You Know the Way to San Jose, and California Dreamin'.

We have four CDs of music, three of them completely original (Little by Little, That's Life, and Real Music), and a CD of Woody Guthrie style folk tunes (including This Land is Your Land of course). All of these are digitally available on CDBaby.com and ITunes. We don't have an official recording of a more modern collection of cover tunes, but we never miss a chance to play them wherever we go. A number of these in mp3 form are on this website and available on request. Just send us an email.

The musicians out here in the Verde Valley are an eclectic mix of musicians, most who have come "from away" as they say DownEast (Maine, that is).  The music is a mixture of folk, rolk, pop, jazz, country, blue grass, and blues, and there are festivals throughout the state that reflect each of these genres of music. Although our roots are firmly planted in the "60's and '70's, we draw from older as well as newer forms of music, equally at home with Appalachian folk and modern alt music. Take a look at our site and listen to some of our music!
